Brazil πŸ‡§πŸ‡· β€œI have too much faith and too many tattoos and all these tattoos represent a lot of things to me. I grew up in Guadalupe, a small hood in the north zone of Rio. I have a dream of studying photography outside of Brazil. I am the one son of my mother, we have a good relationship. She helped me a lot. She is very anxious. My mother's best friend died from the coronavirus. The situation is very bad here but we have faith that things are going to get better. Brazil, it’s a very dangerous country. There is too much death and violence. I am suffering in different situations because being a black guy is just a problem in any place here. Anything could happen to you. My problems are not something that brings me down, I’m still a lucky guy. I first started taking photos six years ago. At that time, I was the drummer of a band called TemploDilema. I asked our photographer to see his camera and I wished that someday I could buy one. When my band ended, I sold my drum set and bought a new camera. I started taking photos of my friends, photos of the streets, making editorials and I’m still here doing this now, by myself. With my photography, I always like to see places and things that bring out good vibrations. I left my job two weeks ago to focus 100 per cent on photography. I have fears about this but I have to try.”
